Special Committee on Climate Change Oil
On Tuesday February 16, 2010, settled the Special Committee on Climate Change in the Chamber of Deputies. The aim is to coordinate actions and monitor environmental programs and to exchange experiences between countries and to promote Mexico's leadership on issues and proposals for sustainable development projects.
The Committee Chairman, Rep. Cesar Daniel Gonzalez Madruga, has been clear about the objectives of the agency. As a young legislator and have a young team, has come to different sectors of civil society to bring their claims. The commission is of great importance and is even more important because the Conference of Parties (COP) will be held in Cancun, Quintana Roo from 29 November to 10 December.
Likewise, plans to promote initiatives on green taxes and tax incentives for reducing emissions of greenhouse gases (GHGs). Obviously this should be implemented at the federal level, in collaboration with state and local authorities.
I wonder who think this note ... Does it seem relevant special commission?
